– Vince Lombardi

In reading the above quote it made me conduct a self evaluation and come up with a mental list of what are some of my habits and why & how they were developed. We all have habits, some of them benefit us and some of them are to our detriment it is only those who have mastered the art of  creating those habits which serve our purposes that truly reach the level of success both spiritually and physically that we are capable of.

An exercise that you might consider doing and one that I will implement myself is writing down a list of your daily habits both the good and the bad and one by one see if you can’t replace a bad habit with an equally powerful good habit. Let’s say for instance if you wake up in the morning and turn on the news reports only to hear all of the negativity that is going on in the world try and replace this habit with one where you set aside time for meditation and contemplation of the events which are about to unfold.

I will personally do this starting right now and report back in 30 days to see what are some of the habits that I have identified and corrected to serve my goals in life.

As always I appreciate your comments and retweets.

John

Hey John -

That’s a good idea :) Change your bad habits for equally powerful good habits.

I will join you on your 30 day experiment as of Today! and let you how I get on.

John,

This is a great challenge for everyone we can always grow individually and in our businesses. I know that I always start off on the right track but, then when I get comfortable I start to slack. I think we can all relate to this.

I will also join you in your 30 day challenge.

Keep it up!!!

Wonderful idea. Right now I’m also bulding my new habits. One of them is morning ritual – exercises, meditation, drinking water etc. Very powerful habit. It’s my seventh day.

I have one tip for you. Change font on your blog. Present is very difficult to read.

Have a great day.
