Facebook Network Marketing Using Facebook to Grow Your Local Area Network Marketing Team Using Facebook to grow your local area network marketing team can be a very powerful business building strategy for long term stability and short term revenue generation.

As an Online Network Marketing business builder I see a common mistake in so many new business owners. This mistake is that in their rush to build a large and thriving network marketing team that is national or international in scope they often forget about what could be their richest area of development.

This area is of course their very own backyard.

In considering this issue a story comes to mind that perfectly illustrates this point is the one put forth by the famous orator Russel Conwell in his moving speech entitled “Acres of Diamonds“.

Mr. Conwell recounted the story of a farmer in Africa who had his heart set on finding a claim for a diamond mine thereby making him a wealthy man. The story goes that the man in his rush to realize this dream sold off his farm and spent the rest of his miserable days scouring the plains of the continent in search of this mythic cache of riches.

The story continues in that the farmer ended up dying an old and broken man truly dissatisfied with the way his life had turned out.

It was on occasion that the gentleman who had purchased the farmer’s land had taken the time to go wading in the stream on the property and while in the water something glittery caught his eye. When he stooped down to pick it up he realized that it was in fact one of the largest diamonds he had ever seen.

Unfortunately for the original farmer who had spent his life in vain and discomfort searching for prosperity, the farm he had sold so long ago turned out to contain one of the largest deposits of diamonds on the African continent.

I tell you this story to drive home the point in that it is true the internet can assist us in creating new and wonderful business partnerships with folks all around the nation but keep in mind that in fact all we really have to do is concentrate on developing the resources already at our fingertips to experience more success than most will ever achieve in their network marketing careers.
