Well said my friend….
If you have thousands of friends on FaceBook but you don’t take the time to get to know any of them, you’re really not any better off than if you had just 100 that you did communicate with.
Thanks John for all you do to create success in the lives of others.
Take Care,
Sharlene

Awesome post John. I despise nothing more than meeting a new friend on facebook and then getting bombarded with SPAM, and wall posts about their primary business. Thanks for the True Leader value my friend.

@Mick: You rock my brotha. Success is truly about taking action in a hurry and your speed of implementation speaks for itself.

@Sharlene: You have got to be one of the best women in network marketing. I really appreciate you.

You are absolutely right on with this post. I have been very deliberate in building my facebook friends in a way that there is areal, valuable connection available. It just doesn’t make sense to do it any other way (well, unless of course you do want to be the classic spammer networkers you spoke about!). ;)

Twitter is a tricky one for me ~ I have been growing that list organically as well, and that is more work than I think I can keep up with. I’d be interested to hear how your course goes ~ keep us updated!

Oh, and last thing ~ I don’t know that I agree that the only way you lose is if you quit ~ first you have to be serious about playing the game, and we all know that many are not. ;)

Keep rockin’ John, I appreciate the value you bring!

Hey Beth,
I really appreciate your commentary. It is always very insightful.

I just finished up with the meat of the course and tonight I will go about starting the implementation. I will know how it goes within about 3-4 weeks of solid effort.

The thing that the course teaches is a very specific model to follow so that you don’t spend all of your time in front of a computer screen wasting time on Twitter.

Personally prior to taking the course I had basically given up on Twitter since it didn’t really have a great ROI for me. Now that I am going to go about marketing on it a different way this should be very interesting.

Keep rockin,
J

Hey John,
You bring up key points to building a network of people who trust and respect you. It is about giving value and sharing with others. Open a positive environment to learn and grow in brings value to everyone.
Thanks for sharing today,
Val

Good insights, John. I find Social Media marketing a bit woozy. I mean, it’s not neat and linear and I get sort of lost in its random flow. But you point out its great power, and that inspires me to learn better how to use it to establish real relationships.

And thanks for pointing out the futility of numbers building on FB and Twitter. I know so many people are immersed in that process, but I’m never sure to what end?

I’ll be following you more closely, John. I see you are a real leader out here.

David,
I know exactly what you mean my friend about Social Media marketing not being as neat and tidy as one might hope for but I would direct you to my latest post on the power of a Social Media Masterind and what it can do for you and your business.

I look forward to you joining us partner.
