The Power of The Mastermind
By
The Power of The Mastermind is one of the foundational principles that Napoleon Hill set down in his book Think and Grow Rich. This incredibly powerful law is one of the greatest connections between all of the world’s most successful people.
Napoleon defines the Mastermind as:
“Coordination of knowledge and effort, in a spirit of harmony, between two or more people, for the attainment of a definite purpose.”
This is such a powerful strategy to put into place for not only your business but also in your life. You surround yourself with others who give you advice, cooperation, and are in perfect harmony with your purpose.
Having a well defined purpose is your key to igniting and maximizing this power on your behalf. It is only be having a well defined purpose that we can proceed to build our team around it. What’s really crazy is that I read in the book that Andrew Carnegie who at the time was one of the wealthiest men on earth had formed a mastermind team of fifty men for the Definite Purpose of manufacturing and marketing of steel. These men were from various professions and backgrounds.
What are the possibilities which are open to you at this very moment? Keep in mind that in forming a true mastermind group you want to include people from all areas of business which support you and your growth.
You might be an online network marketer and your mastermind partners could include someone who is especially adept at copywriting, another could be a graphic artist for your marketing material, yet another could be an upline mentor with whom you have a coaching relationship with.
I have learned that the second two minds come together with a definite purpose there is automatically a third mind that materializes. Because it is such an absolute powerful statement I will quote Mr. Hill:
When a group of individual brains are coordinated and function in Harmony, the increased energy created through that alliance, becomes available to every individual brain in the group.
We exponentially increase our capability of success and achievement when we bring others into the mastermind. This is why it is so important to continue to make those connections with other focus, positive, and forward driving individuals such as yourself.
The benefits though from your mastermind aren’t entirely financial as well. There is also the psychic element in this equation.
When you interact with these individuals the power of the mastermind really comes into manifestation. You are happier because you know that you are headed in the right direction. You feel more at ease and relaxed.
We will go into some of the criteria for choosing suitable Mastermind partners in a later post but until then if you have gained value from this post and would like to add value to it then I would ask you to leave a comment.
If you are in a position of looking to find a Mastermind Partner then shoot me an email and we can take it from there.

John,
I am honored to be part of your Mastermind group. The power and synergy that occurs within a group of like-minded people who share similar goals is immeasurable.
You rock it sir!
There are formal groups who meet regularly and many informal groups. The informal groups are formed a bit looser, yet I know I can count on anyone from that group in a heart beat. Mastermind groups abound in my life. I have learned so much from all of them. I cannot imagine life without this awesome backup and support team.
Thank you for being such a positive influence for so many,
Val

John,
I love this post brother. Masterminds establish accountability to each other. Accountability drives personal focus, and focus leaves you with productive results.
Masterminds are the driving force in group success.
A prominent quality among great leaders who head a Mastermind is the ability to discern strong character and powerful desire for growth in others.
This sense and ability guides the leadership of the Mastermind to find new rising talent to leverage and expand the abilities and combined progress of the Mastermind.
Looking forward to the coming chapter…
David

Hey John,
Masterminding is exactly where it is at! The greatest results in history have all occurred as a result of a mastermind.
We are not islands – we are communities sharing and assisting each other. When we come together as one without ego, but open to possibilities, the results are truly extraordinary.
I would be honored to be part of this group. I am part of several Masterminds – formal and informal and I have grown more from these groups than ever before! Blessings, Clare
